Separate ways!

This week we have all gone our separate ways. Rob and Tanner are at Scout Camp and Brianna is at Young Women's Camp. It is just me and Brailyn, Madison and Zoe. Brailyn is spending the night away tonight. Tyson is here some of the time though. We are trying to think of fun things to do. It is so hot outside so I am not wanting to be outside much during the hot part of the day. Today we spent the day visiting my parents. We are open for some fun this week! Especially after spending 3 days (off and on) getting the 3 little ones' bedroom clean. Wow, talk about your "fixer upper" lol. Have fun at camp Rob, Tanner and Brianna. Hope you don't burn up!

Busy, busy, busy!

It seems as if every year I anxiously await for the recital to be over so that summer can officially begin. So that we can relax and have nothing "official" to do! However, it never seems to turn out that way. For example, this week alone, we have had 4 doctor/physical therapy appointments and we had to preview dance pictures and do some summer camp shopping and some other odds and ends. Don't get me wrong! I am not complaining..........but I sure do need a vacation!!! :-)

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day, Rob! You are a great dad. You love your children and it is very obvious. You put them first in your life. I hope they realize how much you love them. I think they do. :-) I love you!

Dance Recital 2010

We had lots of fun at the dance recital "Festivals" on June 17 and 18, 2010. This was Brianna's 12th dance recital and Brailyn's 5th. Both girls danced with perfection! ( I thought) . I was one proud mama! :) Keep dancing, girls! I love you both!! Now for some fun pictures: (I didn't realize the memory on the camera was almost full so I didn't get pictures of them in every dance and every costume, but you get the general idea from these).

The one who started it all!

23 years ago to day a pretty neat guy was born. That was the day I became a mom. In so many ways it seems like a different life, but in some ways it seems like only yesterday. I remember when Tyson was little, so many people said, "Enjoy it, he will grow so fast." I did not understand it. I thought, "How can 18 years go by fast?" Well, I certainly "get it" now. 23 years have flown by. I think the older he got, the faster time went.

Tyson was 100% boy. He liked trucks, machines, and anything that made noise. He used to run to the window any time he heard the garbage truck making its "beep, beep" noises when it was in reverse. When he was about 3 years old, he said he was going to be a garbage man, drive a station wagon and have 10 children. Haha. He is quiet and fairly shy, but he also likes to play jokes on people. The quiet clown. He usually gets away with it because no one usually suspects him. :)

He chose to have a marble chocolate cake with butter cream. Happy birthday, Tyson. We love you!
