Even though we could not celebrate this day with Jordan, we are wishing him a happy birthday! He has been gone from home now for about 21 months. He is loving his missionary life and even though he will come home in about 3 months, he is not quite ready. He has lived his whole life preparing and looking forward to his service as a missionary. Though I know that when he does come home, he will succeed in whatever paths he takes (college, career, marriage, etc.). He lives in Honduras right now. He spends his days praying, searching the scriptures, serving and leading others to Christ. What better way could a young man be spending his time? I know that he will be able to apply all of the experience and knowledge that he has gained to his life and it will benefit him greatly. Service has a way of benefiting the one who is serving.........even though the server is not trying to serve for selfish reasons. It just has a way of uplifting the one who is serving, as well as those being served. Jordan, we love you and are so proud of you!
