Sisters and brothers............brothers and sisters! They make life fun, interesting, crazy and sometimes annoying, LOL. I just love to watch the relationships between each of my children blossom. Of course, on most blogs, life is painted as rosy and keen. We don't want to post pictures of when our house is messy or when our children argue. I am the first one to say, my life is not perfect. In fact, far from it. However, there are happy moments that occur each day and I want to hang on to these moments forever! Here are some fun, happy moments between siblings that make a mother's heart happy:
Happy moments:
Silly, um hum or should I say crazy, moments:
Tender moments:
Tanner decided to make 3 tamales out of Zoe, Madison and himself, LOL
Parting hair with a barbie doll leg? LOL
Tickle monsters are coming:
Even time to doctor each other:
Yes, they all have fun together! It is so fun to watch them using their imaginations and creating so many fun and exciting games to play togehter. Some say in a large family the children suffer. They think each child does not get the one-on-one attention he or she may need. Do these children look unhappy or deprived? I think not! I think they are learning patience, compassion, tolerance, and so many other wonderful qualities and life skills that will be with them forever. Even when siblings don't get along, they learn to work through these disagreements through compromise. That is another life skill that will help them in their adult lives. I mean, we all know when we are married, employed, etc. we need to know how to compromise. I grew up in a large family and I would not change that for anything. Sure, we argued as kids. But each of my siblings helped to make me the person I am. I learned how to respect others property, how to wait my turn, how to stand up for myself, when to argue and when to walk away. I learned how to use my imagination, how to share, and so many other important things. Each family member is different. Each one if valuable. We are family! I got all my sisters (and brothers, lol) and me!!

The Bulls
Tanner just completed his third season of basketball. It was a lot of fun! He progressed so much from the start of the season until the end. He learned a lot. He was chosen by the coaches at the beginning of the season to be the team captain, which meant he had to call his teammates to remind them about upcoming games, pictures, and the award ceremony. He was also in charge of the team roster, which meant he had to decide who played each quarter. Tanner was very fair with this. He impressed me as he faithfully remembered to make his calls each week.
Each boy and girl (there were only a few girls who played) received a trophy. A few players were recognized over and beyond and received an award of a brand-new basketball. Tanner was very surprised to have been one of those honored. He won the "highest percentage" award, which means for every time he shot the ball, he had the highest percentage of actually making it in the basket. We are proud of you, Tanner!
